***After Ritchie finishes talking about his past, Sin Yi says 'I'm sorry, I thought you...'. Ritchie interrupts 'Ya, I know, everyone thinks that I have a great life with great families, its a common thing. I mean, I smile everyday right?' and Ritchie start to smile again, but actually inside his heart he hurts a lot. Actually its very hard to make himself talks about his past life to someone else, Sin Yi is the first and last one to listen about his life. Ritchie hold Sin Yi's hand, and tell her 'Can you......Can you tell me your problem? What makes you so sad everyday?'. Sin Yi grab on Ritchie's hand tight and say 'I.......I have never told anyone about my life, only one, a girl who used to be my best friend but she left to further her studies overseas. Since then, I got no friends, no life, My father and mother and I were a happy family. Whenever my dad got bonus on his work, he will take us out for dinner but that day I was sick. And been sent to the hospital. And my mother and my father rushed home, to pack up some clothes for me. But on their way back to the hospital. They..........' Sin Yi started to cry, Ritchie hug her. Ritchie says 'Its okay, calm down, I'm right here beside you, whenever you need me, whenever you want me, I'll be there for you. From now on, I'll be here to protect you. If the bullies is on to you again, I'll protect you with my life.' Sin Yi look at him, with tear drops on her face and her eyes open wide. Cause no one have ever said such a thing to her. Her heartbeat become really fast. She don't even know what to say. The time is already midnight. And Sin Yi looks quite tired. So Ritchie send her home, but on their way back they saw a gang walking to them. So Ritchie hold on to Sin Yi's hand and said ' Stay by my side, don't leave my side, cause they are going to mess problem with us.' The gang stop walking and one of them walk up to Ritchie and says 'This is our turf, and you dare to mess with three of my people? You want to die?'. Ritchie answer 'They were the one who started it.' That guy was about to punch Ritchie, but Ritchie block it and hit straight into his face. He pulls Sin Yi and run the other way. Ritchie take out his cellphone while running he called the police. Lucky there is a police patrol there to scare them off. They stop running and rest somewhere near the school.
***Sin Yi start to smile, Ritchie was almost out of breath. Ritchie ask 'Is it that fun running around with people chasing you?' Ritchie start to smile too. Its already 2 a.m luckily there is a taxi pass by if not they'll have to walk all the way home. The taxi driver wouldn't send Ritchie home cause that was his last call. So Ritchie plans to walk home again. But this time its not the same, without thinking Sin Yi just ask Ritchie to stay over for the night. At first Ritchie refuse to but Sin Yi says 'I need you by my side tonight, you promise me that you'll stay by my side right?'. Ritchie says 'Okay, alright'. So he stayed over for a night. When he walk into Sin Yi's house, the house is very nice, Sin Yi says 'It was decorate by my mother and father before I was born'. Ritchie says 'It looks really nice'. Sin Yi says 'Why don't you go and bath first?' Ritchie says 'Okay'. So Ritchie went to the bathroom and bath. Sin Yi takes a pillow and a blanket for him. So she sits at the living waiting for him to finishes his bath, then she fell asleep. Ritchie finishes his bath, when he walk to the living room he sees Sin Yi is sleeping on the couch. He walks to Sin Yi and whisper to her ear saying 'I Love You' and giving a kiss on her cheek. Then he takes the blanket and put it on her. The next day they got a drama competition in school and they have been practicing when recess time. We got the first place and the teacher says they'll treat us to dinner tonight.
***That night, Ritchie and Sin Yi wear very nice clothes and go to the dinner. On their way there Ritchie and Sin Yi got capture by the gang at the playground. The car behind is their friends so they follow the van. Until they reach the place. They take Ritchie and Sin Yi up to the building. They untie Ritchie and Sin Yi and take off the bags. Ritchie says 'What do you want?' One of the gang answer 'Beat you up, and do something with that girl', Ritchie answers 'If you touch her even just a tiny hair, I swear I'll beat you till your death! Sin Yi stay behind me, I'll protect you no matter what.' One of the gang rush to Ritchie and punch him on the stomach but Ritchie still stay strong and shout 'Don't you dare to harm her!'. The second attack they use a club and hit on his head. Sin Yi shout and cry, but Ritchie still standing in order to protect Sin Yi. The third attack, Ritchie knowing that he can't stand anymore. When the club is coming down to the head, he use his hand to hold onto that club and kick that person. The second guy was about to stab Ritchie with a knife. But luckily his friends reach in time his friends kick the second guy. And punch him on the face. Soon after they defeat all the guys in that building. Ritchie fell down, Sin Yi rush to Ritchie, she is crying seeing Ritchie hurt, he got hurt cause of protecting her. Ritchie says 'Don't cry, I'm alright.' Ritchie forced himself to stand up,smile and hug Sin Yi saying 'Don't worry, I told you I'm going to be with you forever, I'm going to stay by your side forever, I won't ever leave your side, I'll protect you.' Then Ritchie faint. Sin Yi fell down too, cause she don't have enough strength to hold on to him. Sin Yi shout 'FASTER! CALL THE AMBULANCE!'. One of Ritchie's friend says 'Don't worry, Ritchie is the toughest guy I ever known, he still smile to you right? So don't worry he will be okay.' The ambulance reach and Ritchie been sent to the hospital. The drama teacher rush to the hospital and see Ritchie and Sin Yi. The next day Ritchie wakes up and find himself lying on hospital beds, and Sin Yi is beside him holding his hand while she is sleeping. Sin Yi wakes up and look at Ritchie. Her tears suddenly drop and she says 'Thank you Ritchie, you are the greatest person I have ever meet in my life.' Ritchie says 'I don't want you to be sad, so that is why I'm here to make you smile everyday.' Since the day after that incident they are more in love with each other. Since the day when Sin Yi knew Ritchie her tears stopped dropping. And she smiles everyday too. Its been hard to Ritchie to make her smile, but he still make it and stay strong to the very end.
